Sad to see that blonde cutie go. She had a great attitude.

Shocked that they go eliminated. The way they were selling the drama I thought for sure it was a non-elimination.

Re: The Amazing Race 21 -- "Fishy Kiss" -- 11/25/12

Thought the use of the double u-turn was kind of dirty pool. I recognize that it's a good game move, but it just didn't pass the smell test for me. I would be surprised if they don't change the rules so that can't happen again.

Given Trey and Lexi's participation in stealing money, and the complete and total lack of faith I have in Brent and Josh's ability to win, I'm left to rooting for James and Jaymes. For much of the race, I admit I just dismissed them, but they do seem like genuinely nice guys so I'd like to see them win.

Yeah, that certainly was not the "intended" use of the double U-turn. I'm pretty sure they added that to create more drama (more of a chance that a team that U-turned another will have encounter them in later legs).

I've always thought teams should do this double U-Turn trick, it's good strategy.

The farmers making the final three would be the biggest upset ever, no?

Could someone dumb-down for me the dirty use of the double U-turn? Was it the use of it on a team that had already passed to keep anyone else from using it?

Rooting for anyone but the twinnies at this point.

That's it in a nutshell, although I personally wouldn't call it dirty. The entire thing was orchestrated to eliminate Ryan and Abbie, and keep the Goatmen in.

Re: The Amazing Race 21 -- "Fishy Kiss" -- 11/25/12

There's nothing to stop a team from U-turning a team that has already passed the U-turn; it has happened before, though the team that did the U-turn didn't know that the team they u-turned had already passed the U-turn.

In this case, they used the U-turn on a team that had obviously passed the U-turn stop. The machine let them do it, so it would seem to have been allowable. They might change the rules after this race, though.

Solid strategy.

I've thought for the past few seasons that someone should implement that double u-turn strategy.

Aren't the farmers so far behind that even with the patented AR bunch-up, they'll still be way out of the race?

I'm guessing that they're 3-4 hours behind at this point.

The goaties would need someone to fly to France instead of Holland for them to catch up

Re: The Amazing Race 21 -- "Fishy Kiss" -- 11/25/12

As much as I dislike the Twinnies I have to admit that they're a strong team that doesn't flinch from any task. As for Abbie and What's His Name Again? they fell into the all to common AR trap of thinking they were entitled to a top finish just because they started out strong. They have only themselves to blame for going back to Frankfurt. I'll be rooting for the male strippers which isn't a phrase I ever expected to utter.

When I saw that the fast forward started at the "Van Gogh Café" I was worried it would involve cutting off an ear.

Well, the head-shaving challenges have gotten kind of boring. They need to do something new and bigger.

But then the twins would have to be louder.

Abbie was looking really hot in that buckle hat. She should have kept it.

Not that it matters now, but I thought it weird to have James (the Chippendale with the bad ankle) do the ditch vaulting.

Wild to see 2 places I visited last year (tho the opposite direction. I went from Amsterdam to Moscow) on the same trip in this leg. I totally understand the flight frustrations. I've been stuck at Sheremetyevo because of mechanical problems.
