Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Alexander, proud and impressed by Juan's triumphant campaign in Spain, sends his son to lay siege to the castle of Catherina Sforza, where his ignoble behavior and a startling turn of events bring to light his true colors. In Rome, Lucrezia schemes to get out of a planned marriage to a rich merchant of Genoa. And in Florence, Cesare and Machiavelli bear witness to Savonarola's calculated and destructive "Bonfire of the Vanities."

Wow, Juan is a total wuss.

Those little handheld cannons were brutal. That Papal army got their asses kicked all the while Cesare let it happen. Everything that could have gone wrong has gone wrong.

What happened to Alexanders little minx? Did she die in the roof collapse?

What was with Micoletto and the bald monk dude? I thought he was going to get it right there.

What a great show.

Am I alone in thinking Caterina Sforza is really fucking hot? Total goddamned cougar sporting a big red bush.

As to Savonarola they missed on getting an actor that looked like him.

Caterina Sforza is a close resemblance however.

Wiki says Ceasare Borgia took her prisoner and was imprisoned for a while. When she was released she lived quietly in Florence. Her story sounds real interesting and I need to read more.

I cannot recall...what army attacked the papal army from behind? Was it some of Caterina's army that "snuck out the back" of the castle or a different group?

Those battle scenes at the end were pretty damn graphic. Nice to see Juan get his ass kicked. But he was nice enough to bring the Pope turds from Spain.

I think it was part of Ludovico Sforza's (the Duke of Milan) army.
