The X Files complete collection?
I live in Canada so lets get that out of the way first.
Anyone have any clue where I might be able to get The X Files Complete Collection? I searched every HMV near me, the website, best buy, future shop, amazon.ca/.com, etc and I can't find a single one beyond Amazon.com for $250 and .ca for $600. So not much luck there.
I did have a plan where I order off HMV.com and have it shipped from the UK and my total would have only been $120-150, depending on duty fees and the like. Problem is its a Region 2 DVD and I don't feel like spending that cash only for it not to work.
So if someone has any clue where I could get it brand new and cheapish (less then $200 would be awesome) I would be incredibly grateful. If its a US site, So long as it ships to Canada, that would work

You'll just have to keep your eyes peeled.
These will occasionally go on sale at Amazon.com in the $120-$130 range, which is probably your best bet. It's been a while since I saw them for that price, but since I got mine I haven't really kept track of the sales.

If you have a mutli-region player then you can pick it up from Amazon.co.uk for under $100. I'm not sure if it is missing bonus features or anything (although I can tell you that it is missing the second movie), but for that price it's hard to look past it.

^ I'd considered it but I just got a Blu-Ray player that is the main component of a surround sound system so no replacing that any time soon. I did happen to look for a region unlock code but no such luck for my model

Amazon UK removes the vat when before you place your order so it might be cheaper than HMV UK.
Note that under the new copyright laws being proposed (enacted already?) by the Canadian Conservative government there's talk that using multi-region player/non-R1 discs may become illegal. It's kinda murky on that point.
As far as a region free player goes you can get them for less than $30. Your BR (I'm assuming it's a HTiB?) should have at least one aux in jack.
