Synopsis:

Spoiler:
While investigating the shooting death of her ex-partner in New York, Beckett comes to believe the suspect has fled to Los Angeles. Against orders, she travels to L.A., going renegade to track down the killer, with Castle unexpectedly along for the ride. As they dig deeper into the motives, they uncover a trail that leads from a rooftop pool in Hollywood to the sandy beach of Santa Monica. Along the way, they visit the set of the "Heat Wave" movie (based on Castle's book) and enlist the cast to help break the case. But as they get closer to apprehending the killer, Castle begins to wonder whether Beckett is out for justice -- or revenge

It has credits on it, but this version is HD: <iframe width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Ot2oQE_M8Xg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Glad to have Castle back - odd place in the season for them to have gone on break.

I'm sorry, but that swimsuit looked ridiculously hideous to me. It was like Gaultier run amok, and the brown was not flattering at all.

I agree, that was a really awful swimsuit. Whoever picked it should be fired.

Now, Stana Katic in a tight white T-shirt was drool-worthy.

Not a bad episode. Rather weird tone to the entire thing though. I did think the fake Brooklyn duo was funny. "That was just creepy."

Speaking of a whoever did the outfits for this episode, they really made Castle frumpy looking. I also noticed they took off all of the horses from the Ferrari.

I hear the finale is a real kicker. I haven't read any spoilers, but I thought the serial killer was supposed to be a thread through the season. Isn't the last we saw of him when he captured Castle and left him in the motel room?

Have not posted here in a looong time .. but funny that I came across here when I did a google search when I wondered if it was only me or if anyone else detected that the detective is nicely waxed

I have a better screen cap .. but not sure if that is against any rules ...

If it is a screen cap from the episode, it should be good.

Between her god awful bathing suit and the guy behind her in this screenshot I cant decide which is more off putting.

The guy looks like he's about to give birth.

The funny thing was that they intro'd the scene with b-roll of girls in hot bikinis that looked a lot better than detective Beckett, at least from the neck down.

Yeah, that bikini was hideous, but I think what they were trying to do is make her look like she came from money. One of those designer bikinis that costs a ridiculous amount of money.

Is it legal for police officers to shoot a suspect who is running away?

That had to be the most disappointing hot chick coming out of a pool dripping wet scene ever to be aired on TV.

So Castle has switched from an iphone to a Windows phone? Product placements just have to clobber us over the head these days. Surprised he didn't play an Xbox game while booting up Netflix.
