Decent ep., though I felt the solving of the murder this week was a little too out of the blue (moreso than usual). Still, they did a good job of building on Castle and Beckett as an unrequited couple. The scene in the club was great, and Katic knows how to act sexy as hell if she wants.

Wasn't/isn't Beckett seeing somebody? I thought it was a reaction to Castle seeing one of his ex-wives and was a big to-do over the summer and the end of last season, but they seems to have fallen by the side. Now it's more business as usual.

Castle was dating his ex, but they broke up.
Beckett is living with a doctor, but he's in Africa while Castle is making regular visits to their apartment.

I caught both of those, but it seems like they dropped the tension and issue of them seeing others that ended last season and kicked off this season. It's like it's their, but not really being dealt with. The closest, and not on that issue itself, was Martha telling Castle he need to figure out why he was chacing around with Beckett since it wasn't for inspiration for his next novel.
