I missed last week's season premiere. DVR'ing a re-air today.
I read on a Merlin fan site that a season 3 was already greenlighted and will air later this year on the BBC 1st.

Yeah you know why not? Friday's are slow and I'm intrigued by this show.

Never seen this show - what's it like? From the promo photo, it looks like an adventure/light drama skewed toward a young audience.

From what I can tell it's similar to the BBC show Robin Hood. The season premiere is re-airing today at 7pm and from what I heard you don't necessarily have to watch season 1 to jump in.

Think Smallville for the Camelot mythos. Stylistically it's like Smallville, but it also has the secret powers angle too because magic is outlawed and so Merlin must save the day while concealing his abilities.

All the eps this second season really advance the character arcs. The title of this week's show is especially telling.

I really enjoyed this. It had a Doctor Who vibe, with the look and the music. Looks like they have the first season on Hulu, so I'll have to check it out.
