What happened to Annabella Sciorra?
She does the occasional guest spot on TV shows but I remember she was big in the 90's and she had big roles in movies like Jungle Fever, What Dreams May Come, Night We Never Met, Cop Land, Hand That Rocks the Cradle, Mr. Wonderful, Romeo is Bleeding, and Reversal of Fortune.
I don't think she was a bad actress or I could be wrong or was just another "It" girl whose time had passed?

I have no idea. She's hot but she doesn't really have wide appeal in terms of being a movie actress. Poor man's Marisa Tomei right now as in she could possibly get her knockoffs.
She needs another cable tv gig. She was smoking hot and amazing in The Sopranos.

I forget which rumor-monger told me this, but I heard that Abel Ferrara, the scuzzbag who directed her in THE FUNERAL and NEW ROSE HOTEL, got her hooked on heroin.

While she's certainly pretty and a good actress, sad fact of the matter is that in Hollywood, when a woman is past a certain age (say, 35) and if she's not impossibly beautiful (Julie Christie) or an amazing actress (Merell Streep), she's just not going to work as much as before, i.e., Deborah Winger, Rachel Ward, Ali MacGraw, Laura Dern, etc...

She was on the FOX show Mental last summer. She's still good looking for 45, but as mentioned above, once an actress gets into her 40's and above, it's alot harder for them to find work.
If she wants to work, her best bet is trying to get cast on a TV show.

The stint on CI was a few years ago. I liked her on that show. She was paired up with Chris Noth. She got replaced after Season 4 or Season 5 by Julianne Nicholson. I guess its just Law and Order tradition to replace people at random after a few years.
