Using an US DVD-player in Europe

I'm going to buy a DVD player from Amazon with my Jaboom GC's (I'll ship it to someone in the US and will take it with me when I'm going to visit the US this summer).
THe problem is: what extra equipment do I need to hook it up to a European power suply system? It's 230V/50Hz. Will I just need a simple adapter for the power connector?
