I bought 2 of these subs (at different times) at J & R Music for $300 delivered and that was 5 months ago. You can search for the lowest price online and in most cases they will price match the other web sites. Also you have the confidence in knowing J & R has been in the electronic business for decades and is a authorized dealer for everything they sell.

Are they telling you they don't carry it any more or they won't give you this price? If it's the that they won't give you the price, then just do a search for another site that carries the sub and tell J & R what site and they will price match. They have ALWAYS priced matched for me in the past, I don't see why they wouldn't for you. Some of the other sites that have low prices are pretty shady and are good only for getting reputable dealers to price match.

DBL's wholesale price is $258, if that helps as a reference point. $300 doesn't sound bad for retail.
