Gee, what a shocker at the bottom of that poster:
Viewers are advised that this film contains scenes of heavy drug use, graphic sex and extreme violence

Re: Cannes 2009
Interesting names.. I wonder how Tarantino will do against the international scene.. but on another matter, how does one pronounce Cannes?
is it like
or like
???? I hear it pronounced both ways, but which is correct?

According to answers.com and audioenglish.net, it's "can"

But you know, to-may-to, to-mah-to, let's just call the whole thing off...

Re: Cannes 2009
If you have an English (British) accent, then it's pronounced like the Star Trek character. If you have an American/Canadian accent, it's like the soup. The French pronounciation is similar to the soup as well, but with a shorter "a" sound. I always roll my eyes at North American journalists who pronounce it the British way to sound more foreign and exotic, the same way how people pronounce Ralph Lauren as "LOR-ENN" instead of like the girl's name. He's American, people -- no need for the fancy pronounciation!
