Shellshock 2: Blood Trails
So, when that Warner Home Video deal came up for FEAR 2 on the cheap I decided to add Shellshock 2 to my order to qualify for free shipping. I had never heard anything about the game but figured it was a pre-order so it just hadn't been hyped.
Well, I got notice that it was delivered today and still hadn't heard anything about it. So I look it up and can't find much in the way of reviews or anything. Finally metacritic.com shows it as a 28 of 100 based on 8 reviews.
WTF did I get myself into??? Anyone have ANY info on this potential POS? Wondering if I just eBay it and hope to break even...
Good thing is it was only $25 shipped

As bad as Shellshock 1 was, I can't believe they ever managed to greenlight a second.

I'm in the same boat but I actually got mine today. I cracked it open and gave it a spin. I like it so far; it doesnt start off throwing zombies at you and there is what seems to be a fairly cool story (or at least a series of events). Some of the cinematic moments are pretty cool.
I did get into the zombies a bit. They are fast ones. Here are some things to expect:
Voice acting is suprisingly decent
You will have some close up quick time event fights
You get a pretty good presentation (graphics and story)
It hands out achievements at a pretty good clip
Just don't expect Call of Duty 4 and you'll be happy(ish)
Def worth the $25 we paid. I'll try to answer any questions you have.

Played through this the other night after picking it up cheap at a Blockbuster that was going out of business. It was fine, especially considering what I paid for it. You can easily get 500 achievement points for just playing through the game on Normal (there's no multiplayer), and it shouldn't take you more than 6-7 hours to finish it.
And like SuckaMC said, it's not a bad game. It's not great by any means, but it's not broken either.
