Better for an 84" Elite Screen: rolled up or down?

EDIT: since I'm such a noob, would any of the mods place my thread in the correct forum? Thanks.

Hey guys, I have a question that is bothering me about my 84" Elite Screen. My home theater system is in my basement and I can't figure out which is better: keep the screen down or roll it up after every use. I don't want to end up with ripples or folds in the screen due to the humidity, so which way is the best to avoid this?

Thanks in advance!

I think leaving it down is better. I have to roll up my 110" one and got ripples. They get less pronounced if I leave it down for a while. Of course mounting the screen on a backing would get rid of them altogether.

I really want to get a tensioned screen to get rid of the ripples.

Leave it down. Rolling it usually results in waves. If the screen material is heavy I'd expect most of the waves to flatten out over time.

I find that keeping it rolled up does eliminate waves, even if it's just for an evening. But the screen does tend to curl a bit on the sides where the black border is when it's rolled up.

I never see the waves when watching content, so I usually keep it down.
