Change to bond blu ray
I have all the 20 bond movies in two disc remastered Dvd. I just wondering if I need to change all to Blu-rays? Those need $17*20=$340!
If you want to select from some of those, which group of titles you going to select?

I think you are wrong.
We will probably get the next 6 a year from now followed by the last a year from then. If not, it may be every 6 months (which still means a good year) but I can see MGM wanting to space these out.

Well, if they release them at the same time over the next two years I think we'll see at least seven in each group. If they are going to make us wait a year, the transfers better be worth it.
They may time the next releases with Quantum of Solace.

I think the next batch will come out around March 2009 when I expect Quantum of Solace to come out. Casino Royale opened in theaters in November 2006 and came to Blu-ray in March 2007, so my guess is that QoS will follow a similar schedule. I'd expect more Bonds at that time.

DVD Talk Hall of Fame
Commanderbond.net has reported a 9 March release date for "Quantum of Solace." The past Bond re-release cycles suggest that this is when the next batch of Blu Rays will also be released. Including QoS, there are 22 official Bond movies. Supposing they do not count it or "Casino Royale" as part of their "Classic Bond" re-release schedule (which appears to be the case, since the ads for the older Bonds do not mention the same-day re-issue of CR), then we're back to 20 films. If 6 come out now, I suspect 7 will come out in March with the QoS release, and the final 7 will come out about a year from now, in time for the '09 fourth quarter.
That means that you have six months to scrape together the money for each wave. Or, you can start putting money back now and be prepared for the comprehensive Blu box next year.

Has anyone seen a comprehensive list of any extras that weren't carried to the BDs. Did Die Another Day get back any of the extras dropped from the SE to the UE?
