I just hope that this is an end to the drama and a return to the more fun side of OTH.

Yay, Mouth is back!

Dan's tilting at windmills trying to get Deb back.

Slam Ball should put an end to Nathan's playing days.

Get over it. This is the direction they've gone and it doesn't look like they care to go back.

I thought this was actually a really good episode.

It wasn't dark or depressing as most of this season and last. I thought it was funny to see Dan display some jealousy seeing Deb with Skills.

The only thing I did not like was Brooke becoming a foster Mom. Brooke is only 21-22 years old for Christs sake! She still has a life to live.

It was cool seeing Mouth back after a few weeks.

Mark Schwahn has agreed to a new deal with Warner Bros. for a 7th season should The CW renew the show.

CW would have to be crazy not to renew this show, considering 1) Smackdown is gone, 2) their new Sunday lineup is a complete disaster, and 3) 90210 isn't turning out to be the runaway hit they had hoped.

Ratings for CW Shows in the Past Week (Excluding encores)
Smallville (Viewers: 4.08 million; A18-49: 1.6/ 4)
America’s Next Top Model (Viewers: 3.88 million; A18-49: 1.8/ 5)
One Tree Hill (Viewers: 3.43 million; A18-49: 1.7/ 4)
Gossip Girl (Viewers: 3.34 million; A18-49: 1.6/ 4)
Supernatural (Viewers: 3.14 million; A18-49: 1.4/ 4)
90210 (Viewers: 3.05 million; A18-49: 1.7/ 4)
Privileged (Viewers: 2.33 million; A18-49: 1.1/ 3)
The Game (Viewers: 1.90 million; A18-49: 0.8/ 3)
Every Hates Chris (Viewers: 1.76 million; A18-49: 0.7/ 3)
Valentine (Viewers: 1.01 million; A18-49: 0.4/ 1)
Easy Money (Viewers: 752,000; A18-49: 0.3/ 1)

Yeah, but she's accomplished just about all she could ever hope to on a personal and professional level aside from marriage and kids. When your all-important "to do" list consists of skydiving and watching every Bond flick, there ain't much left for you in this world.

The whole direction they've taken Brooke from the 2nd half of last season is simply bizarre - biological clocks ticking, bucket lists, becoming a foster parent, to being a downright buzzkill. You'd think she's 42 or 52 instead of 22..

I agree this is a no-brainer for the CW, the ratings have been really good and they need this show back.

However, I read that all the principle actors contracts expire after this season and it's rumored that Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Bush are hesitant to return another season.

I wouldn't blame Sophia Bush for not returning considering the direction her character is going.

Yeah. The shows been on for six years and the contracts get more and more expensive (as well as the show) while the ones for most 90210 stars are not. Then agin, even if Chad and Sophia don't return (or become guest stars), I'm fine with that. The show still has a good year left in it and its become one of The CWs hits in the past two years.

Now, it is time for Smallville to go...

I DVRed the show, but all this random violence is kinda a turn off and not too believable. I read that James Van Der Beek will be coming on the show to make a few guest appearances. I want some drama to stir up!

Well, if CMM and SB don't re-up, they could jump another 10 years next season, have Jamie be a freshman at OTH and burgeoning super star basketball player, with Nathan as the coach, and Hailey as the principal. There's another 4 years of teen hijinks to milk for seasons 7-10.

I think they're writing almost all the main characters as if they are 30+ year olds and not 22 year olds, not just Brooke. Lucas is on his second published book, Haley is a school teacher who seems like she's been doing the job for ten years, and so on.

The writers must be dying to put Natan back in a wheel chair by him playing slam ball.
