Trying to identify a song
I'm getting really tired of these songs in movies that are completely unreleased and unattainable. It took almost 20 years for that Cruzados song from Road House to be released on a CD. Anyway, in this case, I can't even ID the song to determine if it is attainable or not. Whatever idiots made this movie didn't even list the music in the credits. This song starts to play at the end of Airborne (1998) just before the credits roll. Google hasn't lead me anywhere, so I figured I'd try here.
I just about had enough.
I been down for a long time
I been to hell and back
this is serious business
here I come baby, ready or not.
here I come baby, ready or not.
I play the game cause I like it a lot
here I come baby, ready or not.
here I come baby, ready or not.
All I want is the blue sky
so forget about all you've heard, baby
this is serious business
here I come baby, ready or not.
here I come baby, ready or not.
I play the game cause I like it a lot...

Nah, didn't really sound like Foreigner. I also looked up those lyrics, and they're not even close. I ripped the ~1 minute of audio from the DVD and and played it repeatedly. The lyrics I posted are the exact words. I'm pretty much positive.

I would've done that in the first place, but I didn't know if there was some BS rule against it. here: http://viper.shadowflareindustries.c...identified.mp3

DVD Talk Legend
Well Shazam on my iPhone can't come up with a match, and it's usually pretty good.
This is likely either a cover/alternate version of a known song or an obscure band/song.
EDIT: Midomi couldn't come up with anything either.
Have you ever heard it outside of the film before? It sounds like something someone would record for a low budget movie - just my opinion.

You could ask Julian Grant, the director.
