Looking for a reliable place to find a 60 GB Playstation 3...

Yes, I know how most likely fruitless my search will be. However, it doesn't hurt to ask. Anyone know of a reliable website where I might find a 60 GB PS3? By "reliable" I mean a place where items aren't the "fell off a truck" sort.

I'v used eBay before for games and such. Just a bit learly about using it for such a big purchase.

You know, the only reason I want a 60GB PS3 is because I've been told it's the only 100% compatible with the PS2 games. However, I have heard that the 80GB PS3 is something like 80% compatible. Is there a list somewhere that details what games are and aren't compatible with the 80GB PS3? I search on Sony's website but didn't even so much as find a mention of this issue (though I'm no suprised).

If none of the PS2 (and hopefully my PS1) games are incompatible with the 80GB PS3, I can just avoid myself a whole lot of bother.

Man I am in the same boat.

I have two hours now...

I can get the Walmart deal of a Ps3 (80gb) with a free game and remote for $500 or I can stop by my local Target that still has 60Gb left and grab one for $500 (but with no games and remote).

I never owned a PS2 but there are a lot of games I'd like to play so thats why I am torn. Part of me wants the 80GB for the free two games but Im worried Ill pick up a PS2 game that doesnt work.

Any advice anyone?

Is that Target deal in-store only or also available online, Matto1020?

In store.

I called them this morning and they said they still have 60GBs ("They are the same price as the one that comes with a game...this one doesn't so I don't know why you want it.")

Crap. There are no Target stores in Puerto Rico. Well, maybe I could call some relatives of mine in the States. Where is your Target located, Matto1020?

Thanks.

Now I just gotta figure out what relatives I might have in that area. Or just figure out if there are some in other Target stores near where I know certain of my relatives live.

Three weeks ago when my girlfriend randomly asked if I'd split the cost of a PS3 with her, there was a lot of 60GBs left and I told her that it was good that she mentioned that when she did as I was guessing the 60GBs would be zeroed out with the quickness in the coming weeks. It looks like I was right, they're all gone now.. and I've got myself some 99% PS2 compatibility. I'm still waiting for them to improve the 1080p scaling quality and for a way to play my legal imports, as I've got a lot of them.. and I know that it's never going to happen.
