The Beatles' Help! --> Back on DVD on Oct. 30 -- 2 DVD Set/Deluxe & Regular Ed.

(Oct. 29 is the UK release date, Oct. 30 in the U.S.)
The deluxe collector's DVD contents:
• A bespoke/custom box containing a reproduction of director Richard Lester's original script featuring handwritten annotations, printed as an authentic clip-bound paper document.
• A 60-page hardback book featuring photographs from the filming of Help!, an introduction by Richard Lester and an appreciation by Martin Scorcese
• Disc 1 - The restored, re-mixed film in 5.1
• Disc 2 - An hour of extras including "The Beatles in Help" a 30-minute documentary on the making of the film. It also includes mini features on the restoration of the original film and a "missing" scene
• A reproduction of an original 1965 film poster
• A set of reproduction 1965 theatrical lobby cards
Standard Edition release will comprise a 4-panel digi-pack with a 16 page booklet in a slipcase, plus the 2 DVDs in a double tray.

Overcropped picture and over-stereofied artificial 5.1 sound.

For those worried about it being overcropped like AHDN (which isn't)...
Comparison between the 4x3 MPI DVD and the 1.66:1 new DVD (taken from the trailer on the site). While AHDN's 5.1 remix isn't great (it's obvious the restored mono track used as the base track is A+), both films are supposed to be at least 1.66:1. The original theatrical releases were 1.75:1, anyways.
