Bands that only released 1 album but you wish were still around?

You know those bands. Ones that came out, maybe had a great debut album, showed such promise and then...*poof* vanished. For me, it'd be Wayne with their fantastic album "Music On Plastic." Originally released independently, it saw a brief revival when they signed to TVT in 2002 and put it out again with a slightly changed tracklist. Then they disappeared, eventually their site even went away.

Thoughts?

The only group that would come close for me would be Zhane. However, they released 2 albums.

Technically they had 2 albums and an EP (Baypath Rd., Plymouth, Example). The remaining members went on to form Subrosa, and released one album called Never Bet The Devil Your Head.

Technically, Havana 3am did release a second album, but with a changed lineup, and as Gary Myrick & Havana 3am. It was called Texas Glitter & Tombstone Tales. More details about it here. And no, it was nowhere near as good as the first.
