30 Rock -- "Up All Night" -- 02/08/07
No thread for 30 Rock, last nights show was great it had everything in it, but the highlight was Jack getting more and more wasted, and lemon looking incredibly hot by the end of the episode, or maybe I was getting more drunk!
I think this was one of the best episodes of the season so far!

This is the best comedy on TV, and I'm a big fan of The Office, which is great too, but really, the last few shows have been superb. I'm a big fan of callbacks, in jokes, throwaways (all the stuff that got Arrested Development such great ratings), so I was falling down over the transitions between Jack's partying scenes:
-He's in the bar, drinking from a beer can in a paper bag(???) -- cut to:
-He's at the newstand, drinking from the bagged beer. Then he has a piece of fried chicken(???) -- cut to:
-He's in the cafeteria, putting fried chicken in his styrofoam tray.
OK, not really funny, but surreal and clever for clever's sake. I love it.

This ep wasn't as rip roaring funny as the ones in the past but it was still good.

If you ask me, the past couple of episodes pushed things a little too far. The head and hair episode has been the best one so far if you ask me, and the rurjur one the week before was also quite strong.

Why don't they just add Dratch as a writer character? It's called The Girly Show, so the number of men on the writing staff makes little sense.

I didn't think it was as good as last week episode but it was still a strong episode. I loved the scenes with Baldwin and Rosellini together. I wasn't a big fan of Fey when she was in SNL but I'm loving her in this show.

I like Baldwin and Rosellini as well, hope they have her back from time to time.
