DVD Talk review of 'The Bill Cosby Show - Season One'

I read Louis Howard's DVD review of The Bill Cosby Show - Season One at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=23247 and...
Nice review. I was a big fan of the show too. I remember in peticular the Christmas episode where he gets an angry old man a job as a Santa.

You did make a mistake in refering to I Spy as sitcom. Have you seen the show? It was one of my 60's favorites. I have every episode on DVD. It was a dramatic show (sometimes deadly serious) with some humor thrown in by Culp and Cosby, who were great together. In fact, Bill Cosby won 3 emmys for the show as lead actor in a dramatic series. He was also the first black actor to star in a dramatic series.

I have already ordered The Bill Cosby Show. You were right in saying it deserved more than 2 seasons.

Thanks for the praise . You have an excellent point about terming it a 'sitcom'. Duly noted and corrected!

It's a show that grows on you. Chet Kincaid was an excellent character for the Cos!
