Panasonic TH-42PD50U noise ?
Hi, I just bought this TV and there is a humming noise coming from the back of the TV. I think it's the power going into it. Can I get something to get rid of this sound? Thanks

If you mean that when you put your ear to the back of the panel..you hear a hum...that is normal. The PD50 is actually very quiet compared to other Plasma panels. Sitting 7ft away I cannot hear anything...it is silent.
A great great looking panel....ED that has PQ that beats many higher rez HD units.

Hi, I know this post was a long time ago but I found it in google and it is the only one related to my problem. The color red at my screen is now orange and I don't know what to do?
I tried playing with the setting and nothing seems to help.
My husband even try to post at fixya to see if someone have a suggestion,
if you need more information here is the page:

Is it just old? can it be fixed or we need to buy a new one?
