Well...my roommate got the new Mike Jones CD, so I gave it a listen...I'd never heard of Mike Jones before.

What a horrible, piece of shit this CD is.

Every song is littered with someone saying "Mike Jones"...why? Honestly, this is one of the worst CD's I've ever heard...most of the beats sound like they've been ripped off of Three 6 Mafia.

Bad CD. Why do people like this stuff?

Still Tippin' was a hot joint when I first heard it last summer; haven't heard anything else from here, but it doesn't seem like it'll be anything different than the usual materialistic hip-hop littering the scene today.

One of the my favorite hip-hop cliches is the pre-emptive self-congratulatory first album; everyone does it and the Biggies are few and far between. That's gotta be embarrassing for the guys who don't make it: "Wanna hear my CD? I've written 12 songs about how I'm rich and awesome and how everyone else sucks compared to me because I'm so rich and awesome...please disregard the fact that I live at home with Mama and work at Circle K."

This album 'soundscan-ed' around 200,000 units. I'm a huge hip-hop fan but can't for the life of me understand why someone would buy this album....

The whole Houston syrup screwed & chopped thing is so beyond me. I had heard good things about Bun B's "Purple Rain" but it's... it's not that good.

I heard on the radio here in Austin a lot last summer then I noticed he is all over MTV now. I hear he hooked Nelly up with his new mouth bling. Oh well the song sucked last year and still sucks. It reminds me of a lot of the third coast/ Screw stuff.
