Stupid question about the jvc th-a35

I have a set of better speakers than what the a35 offers. Is there any way to plug those into the receiver? Given there's no digital out, I guess my chances are zip, but maybe somebody knows something I don't.

On a somewhat related note, I've got an NTSC tv, so what's the best dvd player with PAL-to-NTSC conversion. I know that's been beaten to death (and I've searched the forums so I know), but given the nearest Walmart is about 10000 miles off from where I live, I'd like something easier to get. I don't really care about price, as long as the conversion is pretty much perfect. The best player in my experience is the JVC HTIB I have but I'd like better speakers...

On the same related note, anybody know if there's a way the DmTech DMP-305 can have perfect PAL-to-NTSC conversion?

Thanks a lot to anybody who answers.
