GTA 3/Vice City Double Pack for Xbox is in Target's ad for 27.88. Reg. price is 49.99. If the game is sold out, which it very well maybe, get a raincheck. The raincheck specifies you can use it for an equal discount on like items. Hence, about 45% the game of your choice.

Saw this on another forum. Didn't know if there was a video game bargain forum, so maybe this doesn't belong here.

Thanks for the info, but that practice is discouraged by the mods here (they feel it's a fraudulent practice), so they're likely to close this thread.

The original post stated Xbox version, which is $49.99. The discount on the rain check is 45%.

Can a raincheck for an Xbox game be used for a GC or PS2 game? What if the game the raincheck is for comes back in stock - is a substitution still allowed?

Closing thread. Thanks for posting about the bargain about the GTA two-pack, but the direction in which you took the thread is basically a discussion on how to take advantage of Target's policies. If Target really wanted to offer 45% off all of their XBox games, they'd just do that.
