I am so eager to see how things with Lem, the money, Shane, Mara, Tayvon, Dutch, etc all wrap up.
I felt this season started slow due to the extra episodes, but it has really wound up and the strike team is really feeling the pressure.
Waiting patiently until 10 pm tonight.

Well, the season's over.
Overall pretty darn good. However...Claudette has just gone plain nuts. I could never see a COP doing what she's doing, spending all her time trying to prove some convicted criminals could be innocent rather than being out there making arrests, plus directly disobeying her boss' direct orders at every turn (what is this, 24?). I'm GLAD she won't be captain.
The Strike Team is on very thin ice, which I hate to see. Now that they've turned on each other, the team is not nearly as strong. Guess we'll have to wait until 2005 to see what happens with the team.
Also:
Aceveda was about to pick up a hooker? Why? (At least it was a woman.)
And worse: Dutch with a new kitty cat?! YIKES... He didn't spray Claudette's desk, did he? Poor kitty...

Anybody know if they are going to rebroadcast the season in order sometime later this summer? I didn't get into the show until recently when my parents bought the first two seasons on DVD. I watched those seasons and fell in love with the show, but didn't finish them until this season was almost over. Would love to watch the season from the beginning but not sure i can wait until the DVD set for season three comes out.

badger1997, I'm sure they'll show the full season again. They've done it with every season so far.
Good episode...Andre has acting chops. I didn't know he'd be in the episode, but I of course recognized him immediately. A bit distracting since he's a huge celeb, but the performance was good.

Awesome. Absolutely the best show on Television. I actually can't wait until 2005. Hell, maybe by that time A Feast For Crows will be published.....oh, sorry, wrong forum.
Anyway, it's funny how the season ended with Dutch is how the season started with Dutch. The butt of Vic's jokes. Dutch better hope that's all that happens.
Personally, I don't think the Armenian story is over. If it is, I will be surprised. They still have the money. Not much, granted, but they still have what's left. Margos (sp?) may be dead, but you can't tell me that he's the only stone cold blooded killer that the mob has. And, did you not think that Margos went into the house a bit too eager? I mean, all season long he has been very careful, yet he goes into the house without a thought of safety? It just seemed too pat for me.
The argument between Vic, and, Shane was ****in brilliant. Shane backed off!
I keep telling my wife that the Shield is the best show on television.I have seasons one and two on DVD and sometime this summer I'm gonna tie her to the recliner and make her watch the first episode of The Shield. That's all she'll need, then she'll be hooked as I am.
After the episode is over, with her still tied to the chair an all, I'll be able to....oh, sorry, wrong forum again

The best part of the show tonight was when they kept showing Dutch looking at the cats.
I almost thought for a second Vic was going to shoot Shane.
I think Dutch may pick up the Margos shooting and run with it, and that could still tie back to the team.

how long was this episode, I taped it from 10 to 11 but then taped Stern from 11 to 12, and it was not fully over at 11:00, not really that mad after seeing Tera Patrick on HS

Yeah, I had mine set to record for 2 minutes after. So I finished watching the first airing, and it cut off with Vic walking towards Shane with gun in hand.
One hour later, I got the full ending, which was pretty anti-climatic after all that.

It will be interesting to see who's back and who isn't in 2005. I can't imagine they'll break up the strike team, and who will be the new captain?
A hell of a finale. Can't wait for the new ones.

My favorite show finishes the season. A very solid ending. I was happy there's not a huge cliffhanger (c'mon, is the ST really going to disband?!?!).
It was interesting seeing Aceveda finally achieve personal redemption from his assault. I think that's what the bit with the hooker was. He was just confirming that he's still a man with urges
Remember, these seasons always end with people up and people down. No one is just "in the middle".
