Survivor This Week?

Was it on last night? I forgot to watch so I thought I would come in here for a recap. But there's no thread?

It was a recap show, with very minimal new footage.

It was a stupid "summary" episode. Pointless if you ask me. WHY do they even do that??

Good... thanks. I was bummed that I missed it but I apparently didn't miss much.

I think CBS was (rightfully so) afraid they would get their butts kicked by FOX. Apparently they had a record audience last night.

Why? To stretch out their season, of course.

They pad the season so it will end around the May sweep period, I think.

Also, it's good to have a mid-season recap for refreshing memory of the viewers who have been watching. And to summarize what happen in the first half of season for those viewers who missed them.

The only really good thing that was new about the episode was the tribe doing the fake Tribal Council. Rob (the one booted off already) did a great Jeff Probst.

I liked the fake tribal council and the coffee brewing.

Seems like all the reality shows are doing recap shows now, quite annoying.

I miss Rob. There wasn't any reason for him to go as early as he did. The guy is the only one who is truly great at making witty comments.

I hate these recap shows, but I have to admit last night's was the first one they did that actually had enough new footage to warrant it. It was pretty entertaining overall, though I would have MUCH more prefered a new episode.

But I understand, they want to squeeze as many shows out of each season as they can to make more bucks.

There were some hilarious clips on last night's show. The mock tribal council, Big Tom not being able to be understood by anyone, the coffee clatch - good stuff.

The "previously unseen footage" wasn't all bad, but there was probably less than 6 minutes of it. I figure it wasted 54 minutes of my life and I want it back, so be glad you missed it.
