80s Horror Flick? Don't know the name.....
Used to see this all the time on tv when I was a kid, or at least this specific scene: It's really suspenseful in a movie theater, and someone finally gets stabbed in the back, maybe even through the chair. When I was a kid, the mood of the piece really scared me. There was nothing like it. I'm curious what it would be like now, if only I knew the name of it. Anyone?
Also, another horror film from that era, but one I'm not that excited about, is with this porcellan doll face mask. I'll appreciate all the help I can get with the top description, though. Thank you.

It's been a while since I've seen it, but could the first one have been Foul Play?
As for the second one, Valentine is way too recent to be it. How about Dolls, or some version of The Phantom of the Opera (maybe the Robert Englund one)?

Could the first one be Anguish?

Yeah, the first one could be Anguish. The second one could be Deep Red or The Bell from Hell.

I think that the first one is called He Knows You're Alone. The opening scene has a girl getting stabbed in a movie theater and it was the "inspiration" for the similar scene in Scream 2. It also sports the very first performance of a young Tom Hanks. Back in the day, it used to be on tv all the time.
As far as the second one, there are numerous possibilities.
