The most unclear "what movie is this?" ever...
Just name movies about boys in a private/catholic school, I'm thinking comedy too, excluding the following titles and I should be able to recognize it if you just name it...thanks

-Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys
-Dead Poet's Society
-Sleepers

none of those, i saw this on amc a long time ago but it seemed like a movie from late 80s/early 90s.

The Chocolate War?

(Came out in 1988, pretty good, almost unknown movie, starring the OTHER kid from Weird Science)

That was my first thought. Great movie.

Chocolate War is a great flick too and I never understood why it is not known by a lot of people. 'Tis a shame IMO.

-Absolution (1981) Excellent thriller with Richard Burton set at a boys' private school.

anytime! Glad I could help. Try to check out the Chocolate War too if you get a chance, this movie may NEVER make it to DVD, but it is worth seeing.
