Does Amazon charge tax in CA?

You could pay tax in CA depending on the item or store ordered from. Off hand I don't know all the stores that charge tax other than toys. But if you are ordering DVDs, books, or music you should be fine.

I use to live in CA and ordered many times from Amazon. They never charge sales tax to orders in CA. Except once when they made a mistake and added tax. But that was a while ago.
