Trio top 10 mini-series

I hadn't actually seen any on the list, but why wasn't Band of Brothers on there? Also, since I haven't seen any of these, what did you think of the results? Did Roots get number 1 because it's so good or because of social relevance? Also, what was with Shogun at 2 or 3? It didn't look good at all.

it seemed like they were ranking overall landmarks in the mini series "genre" rather than best overall films, though roots does probably deserve to be #1 regardless

The big networks really dont do Mini-series like they use to i guess it cost too much for the return they get

IMHO, Band of Brothers is the best mini-series of all time.

"I, Cladius" probally the best.Caligula and his despicable but charming grandmother Livia.always wanted a sequel to this just to see Nero burn rome.

Shouldn't the list really be "The Top 10 mini-series we could get rights to show"?
