Seriously. Carnivale? How many episodes of that have actually aired?
Once a show has established itself and run a few seasons, they'll consider throwing it on DVD.
I'm willing to be that half of the shows you listed won't even get a second season.
Happy Family sucks, and so does the O.C.

Static might as well close this. Sorry for pissing people off. I was just wondering as some shows get early dvd info. I guess it was a stupid thread. and now its become anoather when does this come out/ i'd like on dvd thing which wasn't my intention. It would have been better to ask i guess when the shows ended their season or cancelled. Again sorry.

BTW, Amazon has Out of Order listed, with a 1/13/04 release date. So does DVDPlanet, which has the running time as 97 minutes, so I think it's just the pilot.

Apparently, it's never too soon to ask about TV shows being released on DVD!
From TVShowsOnDVD.com:
From TVShowsOnDVD.com:
The O.C. is one of the many shows broadcast on one company's network (Fox) but is actually owned/produced by another (in this case, Warner).
Fans of the show will enjoy knowing that Warner Home Video was discussing TV-on-DVD at a recent retail summit. Very casually they mentioned that The O.C. is coming to DVD, as part of their new plans to use DVD releases to market upcoming seasons. Click here to read the full story.

No offense "Which Button?" but i've noticed now that you've started several threads about "Is ______ coming to DVD?" Do a search man. Don't start any more of these. If theres news on pretty much any DVD being released, you'll find it posted here on the board.

You can "close" this thread yourself..
Click on the edit icon. Then check off the box that says "Delete?". And then hit the "Delete Now?" button.
Voila! Thread closed.

What some of you guys don't understand is that not all of us have the connections into the Movie world that some of you seem to have and aren't neccessarily privy to some of the information that you are. When we think of a DVD that we are interested in and can't find anything on it in a search, don't you think it's natural that we come to you guys to see if you know anything that we might not?
Cut Button a little slack . . . it wasn't off topic and it wasn't a repeated thread . . . it was a perfectly legitimate question posted in the right forum. What more do you want?

The O.C. is coming...
HBO is usually pretty good about their shows, however, THE WIRE and CARNIVALE have never really done too well in the ratings. The WIRE hasn't come out yet and although, I expect Carnivale to come out pretty fast since that's the current trend.
