"The greatest blues rock voice ever to grace a white boy"
In the Zep thread Hiro11 nominated Robert Plant for this and I was wondering who else was wothy of the mantle. I think "staying power" is important i.e. how long have they been around and can they still sing. The first few alternatives that came to mind - admittedly with very little thought - were:
- Glenn Hughes
- Paul Rodgers
- Graham Bonnet

I pick Gregg Allman as my favorite.
I like Clapton's voice as much as his guitar.
Stevie Ray had a good blues voice.
Mick Jagger did some great blues.
Boz Scaggs on "Loan Me A Dime" is excellent.
