PS2 audio skipping, time for cleaning?
Hey guys. My PS2 has been acting a little funky lately. Game audio has been skipping, most noticabley on GTA: Vice City and Robotech Battlecry.
I think it might be time for a cleaning. But before I call Sony and start complaining, I want to know what all your favorite methods of cleaning a PS2 are and how well they work.

With my disc read error, I just called cuspmer support (800) 345-SONY and asked them what it means. They gave me a work order for a free repair. I sent it to them and within a week, they've shipped it back to me with a 90 day warranty to boot. Great customer service, indeed. It might be worth your while to call and talk to a CS rep.
