HEADS UP: Homicide: Life On the Streets/Law & Order fans...
TNT is broadcasting both parts of a Homicide/L&O crossover tonight.
Starts at 9p.
And according to their website, there's another one on August 26th.

It is the first of the crossovers (L&O S6 and Homicide S4): Charm City and For God & Country.
I'm still waiting for the 2nd crossover, Baby It's You (L&O S8 and Homicide S6) - I haven't seen these crossover episodes since they originally aired on NBC in 1997.
BTW, tonight's crossovers starts at 8, not 9.

USA aired it sometime within the last year. I didn't really care for it.

I love the Munch-Briscoe dynamic. Never have watched much of SVU, has munch ever ran into Lenny?

There was one L&O/SVU crossover a few years ago.

The one thing i'd have to say that bothers me though, is how "Munch"-like Munch hasn't been on SVU [at least on the episodes i've seen].
Or is it just me...?

The few episodes I have caught, he is severely toned down. I loved how anti-establishment, pro-drugs Munch was when he was in Baltimore. I remember when he was having the huge fight over Vietnam with Crosetti (if I recall correctly). Or the way he drove Bolander (Ned Beatty) insane with his retoric.

Munch and Bolander were classic together.

I just watched Deep Blue, okay rental, and I forgot how much I hate Michael Michelle, or at least her character. I always hated her for the story line involving the Mahoney incident, which also inspired my hatred of Falsone.
Anyone else disapointed in the movie?

This all must explain why "Homicide" has landed in the top 10-15 in cable ratings twice (I think) in the last couple of weeks. Looks like people are watching it, though. Maybe this could sway TNT to but the rights and start them up again!!!

Good to see those episodes again. I had not seen them since they were originally aired in 1997. I had forgotten that L&O did a Jon-Benet ripped-from-the-headlines case. Briscoe continues playing on Munch's insecurity and I particularly liked Falsone and McCoy in these episodes.
