Korean Betty Blue (Director's Cut)

Yeh, I know... get a Region Free Player... well that is not yet in my current plans...

I know the Korean version will be "edited" for genital nudity... but is anyone familiar with this release?

If I knew that we would be seeing a Region 1 release in the next 6-8 months, I will hold off, but I haven't heard hide nor hair of a rumor for a director's cut of Betty Blue..

I have the Australian R4 version. Very good quality (not outstanding)...with a superb menu, easily the best menu I have seen on a disc.

mcarver: ...and how - if a "Region Free Player is not yet in [your] current plans" - are you going to play a Korean DVD which, in my (admittedly limited) experience with Korean discs, although NTSC-encoded, will also be region 3 - not R1, nor R0 either...?

...just a question...

Supposedly this Betty Blue is region 0. I haven't got mine yet.

Well, it seems that Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, etc. like to put out "all region" DVD's... this happens to be a Region 0 release.

I've got that one too. I'm pretty sure it's actually R0 so should play okay for mcarver (assuming mcarver can display PAL feeds)

If you intend to go ahead with that mcarver, let me know and I'll check it to be sure it's R0

Got mine from here:
