Scoring cheap scalper tix?
Have any of you had success buying CHEAP concert tix from scalpers before? I'd like to go see Fleetwood Mac next week, but I won't go if I have to pay the full price on Ticketmaster. I've read how some of you have showed up at the ticket window right before a show and got great seats. But I'm curious if you've ever had success waiting out a scalper until he lowers the price (after the concert starts).
I'm thinking of trying this, but when I tried this for a Braves World Series game in '96 the scalper would have rather eaten his tickets than sold them to us cheaper (something I never understood).
