I just hope Fable comes out this year. I look forward to it, but I don't see it possibly living up to the hype.

We all know what came out in 2002 ... so I'll leave that be.
For 2003, I wouldn't hold your breath for Brute Force (there's a reason MS delayed it by 6 months). However, the Rare games like Kameo look beautiful, and yes, Fable really will knock your socks off.
Of course, Halo 2 won't be bad, either, with its insane level of bump mapping.

For 2002 it was Max Payne and Ghost Recon. Halo and Splinter Cell I think are so so. Mechassault and Unreal I didn't like too much.
For 2003 it Knights of the Old Republic, Crimson Skies and af ew others.
