Burnout -- xbox opinons

Well, i played this game on my friends GC and found it to be pretty fun.

Is the version for the xBox the same? any opinons?

I see that Burnout 2 is out for the PS2... will that be coming to the xBox anytime soon?

From what I understand Burnout 2 will NOT be coming to the XBox. Why, I don't know. I picked it up for the PS2 and it's incredibly fun.

I may pick up Burnout for the Xbox at some point, though, if I can find it for a cheap price...

Burnout on the Xbox and Cube were ported from the PS2 version, so all three are pretty much the same. I think Xbox has progressive scan, however.

It's worth a rental. I finished it rather quickly (as a rental) and it did not really have much replay value. The game is rather easy. I was glad I did not buy it.

Burnout 2 is a far superior game. I had way more fun with this one than the original. But alas, it was a friends and I don't own a PS2. I picked up the original at BBV for about $16 about 5 weeks ago.

I'll second the thought that Burnout was a tremendous rental. It's a great game, with perfect arcade controls, but just one rental period should leave little, if anything, left to see or do.

Burnout 2 on Xbox will support 720p.

Wait for that one.
