Which X-Files episode was it???
Which episode was the famous Speedo shot? Mulder climbs out of the pool in a red Speedo with nothing left to the imagination. This isn't for me... *cough*... it's for a "friend".

If I recall, it was season 2, Duane Barry.
If I wasn't falling asleep right now, I'd scan the episode and doublecheck, but from memory I believe I'm correct.
If memory serves, he climbs out of the pool to speak with Krycheck when they were working together. Scary my X-Files knowledge...
