The Greatest Rapper I've heard in years...
Thanks to this forum, I've been exposed to some great rap artists... Atmosphere, MOP, and a few others.
I just found a rapper that, in my honest opinion, is just simply awesome.
Tech N9ne.
I'm checking out an advance copy of his new one "Absolute Power", freaking amazing. THe first album is "Calm Before the Storm" and is also freaking incredible.
Just wanted to share.
Credit for this "discovery" goes to Dayewalker of the main forum.

I believe the official release date is September 24th, but if you wanna hear the album now you can get it from IRC if you've got the time. I've already got the CD reserved because it comes with a DVD that has lots of concert footage and stuff, plus it has 6 bonus tracks on it as well.

Wow, nice.... I like, I would buy it if it came to Marshall. I guess if Dayewalker got it SamGoody and we have one maybe we will get it.
Unless you had to special order it?

I never liked Tech Nine. Rappers need to stop talking about crap like tech nines and freaking bling bling. Go listen to some hip hop, some Jurassic 5, ATCQ, Eyedea, Asheru and Blue Black, Swamburger, Mos Def, Blackstar, etc etc.
Oh man, I just My bad. Fans of this kind of music, support Thunderball and get yourself some Tech Nine!

Tech is from Kansas City, Mo. and his past records may not be guest star-heavy but they are fierce. (indie rap kinda)
I think he's alright but nothing great.
His latest is floating around if you wanna preview before a purchase.........which I would do on almost any hiphop cd before purchasing these days.
