PS2 Question on backwards compatibility with 3rd party PSX controllers.
I recently got a Playstation 2 and picked up Gran Turismo 3 on greatest hits. I also have a great little handheld racing wheel with 3 analog buttons and trigger that I tore up the first Gran Turismo with. Here's a pic...
Anyway, I couldn't play GT3 with it. I know some aftermarket PSX controllers were compatible, but apparently this one isn't. Does anyone have or know of a list of 3rd party controllers that are compatible with the PS2? I also have a cool PSX flight stick that I wanted to play Ace Combat 4 with, but I'm afraid it won't work either.
Thanks!

Come on people, I can't believe no one has any idea about this. Have you had any problems with 3rd party ps1 controllers with the ps2?
Thanks,

The only third party PSX controllers I have are the ASCII Arcade Stick and the ASCII... um... some other joystick. Can't remember the name, but it was a pretty popular model. They both worked fine with my PS2, but didn't work on my Xbox through my X-Connection.
