X-files season 5 (preview)
Watched the first four episodes of the Season 5 yesterday and the extras disc.
The episodes look wonderful in anamorphic 1.85:1 widescreen, especially DETOUR and the brilliant UNUSUAL SUSPECTS. The sound is a crisp Dolby 2.0 stereo mix with a french language track as well.
There is an international clip for REDUX and a DVD rom link on DISC 1. The artwork on disc one is a picture of The Lone Gunmen.
The extras disc is a little more abundant than the previous seasons. There is a 20 min doc a mini featurette (2 mins)
6 F/X featurettes with commentary, and 6 deleted scenes (FULL SCREEN) with optional Chris Carter commentary.
Also included is the BEHIND THE XFILES episode a look into the mythology up to season 5.
The usual promos and behind the truth spots round out the disc.
Fox comes through again especially for widescreen owning xphilers.
