What PS2 title are you most looking forward to?

Ok, i know the PS2 has had a slow start with the games(with the exceptions of SSX, Onimusha, Shadow of Destiny, NBA Street and a few others) but the PS2 is about to drop a sh*t load of games by the time Christmas comes rolling in. So which are you looking 4ward to the most, personally ive been waiting for Silent Hill 2 the most, followed by Devil May Cry and SSX Tricky.

Damn, too many excellent choices. I guess it goes to show you how many killer titles the PS2 is gonna have. For me, it was really a toss up between MGS2 and DMC, but I went with MGS2. But ya know what? I'm probably going to get every single one of those games in that poll (except for Grand Theft Auto and SSX Tricky; I already own SSX).

It's a tough call between DMC and GTA3, but since I've been waiting for a game like GTA3 since Driver...

I know it comes out the same day as Silent Hill 2, 9/25, so lets see. For you people that vote other, here are these other games im looking forward too,

State of Emergency
Maximo: Ghosts to Glory
Herdy Gerdy
Batman Vengeance

The reason I bought PS2 was the FF series. So of course that's what I'm looking forward to. Unfortunately, the date has been pushed back to 2002. So the main game I want out by the end of the year is MGS, followed by Devil May Cry.

As a gamer very much looking forward to all those games, I'm not complaining . We have quite a wait for Xenosaga though. Hopefully, it really will have some sort of relation to Xenogears, even though the company is saying they're unrelated.

I heard that is supposedly takes place 10,000 years before Xenogears, but I don't know how official that is since it's not being developed by Square.

I read that too. Strange part is the same preview said the publishers (Namco I think?, but pretty much the same original people who made XenoGears then left Square) said it wasn't related to Xenogears.

MGS2.

I've played the Japanese FFX.... OMG, that game totally rules. The graphics are incredible, awesome storyline, and the voice acting is top-notch... they should've used voice acting for all the FF games!

If i remember correctly , awhile ago on Cleosaga's homepage (the designer of characters such as Sabin and Edgar from FFVI and Bart and Sigurd from Xeno) said Xenogears is Chapter V, and they are starting from the beginning in Xenosaga, maybe they meant that it wasn't related to Xenogears in that it was a sort of prequel instead of a sequel, I get what you mean though on the weirdness of that comment. Unfortunately I can't read japanese so I can't read the updates on her homepage anymore now that my friend who reads japanese is gone.

Oh and I want this game the most:

1. FFX (I just hope the english voice acting isn't as bad as what was in the FF movie)

The rest in no particular order but I still want'em bad:
2. Metal Gear Solid 2
3. Xenosaga
4. Gitarooo-man
5. Silent Hill 2
6. Devil May Cry
7. Ico

hell there's too many good ones to list, looks like the PS2 is finally getting some kick butt games, I sold SSX way back in February and haven't owned any games for my PS2 since then (just rented hear and there). I would buy any of these games in a heartbeat!!
