I sure hope so. It's my best blind buy lately.

I'm also looking at picking up Steam Detectives this week as a blind buy. Anyone watched it?

Well, if you're referring to how my collection link has only R.O.D in it...then yes, it's incomplete (from that page). The new DVDaf, made it so there's no "main page" anymore that shows your whole collection. My collection is in a bunch of subfolders (didn't bother classifying R.O.D since it was the only DVD I own by "manga").

I think it's been said before, but the new DVDaf.com is horrible.

If I'm not mistaken, that's because they only used material from the first half of the manga. I've been meaning to pick up the rest of the manga (now that ADV has gotten around to putting more of it out), but I believe it's 6 volumes and the DVD episodes only seem to cover the stuff from the first 3. (Though, like I said I haven't gotten more than the first three so I could be wrong.)

I'd love to see more Gunslinger Girl animated, but it's probably not likely at this point.

And yes, it does seem to be an unfortunate trend these days >
