Got the S1+S2 set during the last sale and have been watching it with the kids for the last few days. The first episode of S1 is a little slow but it rapidly gets better. My three kids 8,9 and 11 are GLUED to this series.

Got my shipping notice on March 23rd and it arrived on March 29th. Live in Tennessee. I did use the Free Shipping.

Yeah... It looks like the set is Non-Anamorphic afterall. I guess I can't complain since the set was so cheap - but this still sucks.

That does suck. I haven't got mine yet to check. Is it at least widescreen? I wonder why the DVD Talk review says it's anamorphic if it's not.

I know for a fact that the first disc is 1.78 Non-Anamorphic widescreen. I can't imagine other discs being different... I wonder if they made two editions and they're trying to weed out the older pressing with the sale. Just a theory

I think the reviewer was just wrong. I have gotten similar titles from AE/history (like Lost Worlds) and they are always non-anamorphic.

Oh and I gave it a quick spin, it is indeed non-anamorphic. Maybe the reviewer got confused with Season 2 and its anamorphic?
