When you said that only people with "comedic experience" are "worthy" of hosting. How are you imagining the show? Even without that policy, people like Heder and Tom Green end up hosting. If people who have starred in comedic roles were the only people hosting the show, then you would see even more of that.

I haven't seen him in anything that made me laugh. This weekend's SNL included.
There has been only one decent episode this season. And you're blaming Ludacris that the episode was bad? Seriously?

And 99.9% of comedies are garbage? That's sad that you think that.
No, it's sad that it's true. And judging by IMDB ratings, most people over ~18 agree with me.

I see it as a show that should make me laugh. And since what makes me laugh is different than what makes you laugh, obviously my ideas about the show will differ from yours.

I never blamed Mr. Bridges.

I thought the Blizzard sketch was worthy of a laugh. That's about it.

I suppose this is a bit late, but I did not get a chance to watch the show until this evening.

Cold Opening: A Bush skit and Will Forte is not involved. This is a nice way to start an episode. Instead of being painful, the bit is merely dull.

Monologue: One of the better monologues of the season. The Rick-diculous thing was rather obvious, but I still found it amusing.

Young Douglas: It was ok, seems like it could have been a lot better.

Dr. Bitchslap: Is this a skit based on the comedic value of domestic violence? They may get some letters about this one.

The O’Reilly Factor: Not very funny. Way too long

Booty Bidness: Creative, but not a lot of laughs.

Blizzard Man: I thought this one was fairly bad.

Ludacris (performance 1): Typical rap music. I would rate it is a bit above average though.

Weekend Update: John Mark Karr? Isn’t that at least a month late? Does Weekend Update need to last more than 10 minutes?

Poolwatch: Awful

Hair Transplant: Awful and moronic.

Lesbian Cruise: Another awful skit

Ludacris (performance 2): I liked the first song better.

Two Old Guys in a Diner: Not bad for the final skit of the evening.

Apparently last week’s episode was merely an aberration. The show started out merely bland, but it turned truly awful after Weekend Update.

My Rating: D

We haven't really gotten into why Sudeikis portrayed GWB instead of the guy who's done it for the past few seasons, Will Forte. I thought maybe Forte had the week off, but he was in one sketch. So why the different actor? Is this a permanent change? Neither guy does GWB as well as Ferrell, but Forte was a little better than Sudeikis.

I'm guessing it was changed for the West Coast feed, but I went back and watched the monologue online, and Don Pardo now says "Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges" instead of calling him "Lou-DAY-Kris".

"Drinking malt liquor.
And shooting each other."

Or some such. I like that skit. It's funny.
