Yep. That kind of money means why bother looking for bargains if you've got better things to do.

I had a "Best Buy" moment at Circuit City today. A sales clerk was nice enough to locate a copy of Enter the Dragon for me (it was hidden behind something else). The back of case wasn't clear to me, so I asked him if the DVD was anamorphic. "No," he said, "it's live action."
Gotta love 'em.
BTW, it is anamorphic.

Remington Steele was out early
FWIW, I was at the fairly new Spy Museum in DC about a week ago (fun place btw), and was surprised to see that they already had the Remington Steele set out for sale (at full retail of course).

Heads-up for non-Best Buy Reward Zone members who want 3rd Rock From the Sun for $19.99... Because of the way that BB published the $19.99 price in their ad next to 3rd Rock, I was able to get Wal*Mart to price match it. It's easy for the Wal*Mart manager to miss the tiny "Reward Zone" disclaimer in the ad. Of course, YMMV...

Seriously, they do these sales and they put in one or two good titles and a bunch of crap that they're trying to move, so that people think they're getting a good deal, when in actuallity, they're paying an extra 10 bucks to get a movie they don't really even want that much.

I am somewhat curious if there is a legal issue in this. I know that in Kroger (supermarket), if some grocery is 2 for X, they must sell 1 for 1/2 X (I don't know if it is the law, or just store policy), but if it is b1g1, then one would pay the same price for 1 of the items as one would pay for 2.
