I went to Target yesterday and picked up American Psycho. It was the unrated Killer collectors edition. 10 bucks

Yep. That kind of money means why bother looking for bargains if you've got better things to do.

She's not single. Her husband makes the same as her as he's a VP of a large company and a workaholic.

I had a "Best Buy" moment at Circuit City today. A sales clerk was nice enough to locate a copy of Enter the Dragon for me (it was hidden behind something else). The back of case wasn't clear to me, so I asked him if the DVD was anamorphic. "No," he said, "it's live action."

Gotta love 'em.

BTW, it is anamorphic.

I dunno, man. They had some really talented animorphators working on that film. The quality of the animorphation is superb.

Enter the Dragon is the 1-disc snapper version that's on sale instead of the SE, right?

Remington Steele was out early

FWIW, I was at the fairly new Spy Museum in DC about a week ago (fun place btw), and was surprised to see that they already had the Remington Steele set out for sale (at full retail of course).

Heads-up for non-Best Buy Reward Zone members who want 3rd Rock From the Sun for $19.99... Because of the way that BB published the $19.99 price in their ad next to 3rd Rock, I was able to get Wal*Mart to price match it. It's easy for the Wal*Mart manager to miss the tiny "Reward Zone" disclaimer in the ad. Of course, YMMV...

PM at Wal-Mart for $20 as well w/ BB ad - reg price was $24.xx, which beats BB anyway (if you're not RZ).

It's the 25th anniversary edition, one-disc snapper, one side movie, the other special features.

sling balde for 10 bucks is pretty tempting
Although this sale's half over, I was annoyed yesterday to find you literally have to buy 2 to get them for $10 each. I thought typically they just ring up as $10 in these sales.

It says "2 for $20." Why would each ring up for $10 if you only bought one? Then it wouldn't be a 2 for 20 sale, it's be a 1 for 10 sale.. Seriously, they do these sales and they put in one or two good titles and a bunch of crap that they're trying to move, so that people think they're getting a good deal, when in actuallity, they're paying an extra 10 bucks to get a movie they don't really even want that much.

I know when Target advertises a 2 for X sale, they always sell 1 for 1/2 X, but I wouldn't necessarily expect all other retailers to follow suit. I can understand his being annoyed, as he stated, but no more. He didn't indicate that he was expecting 1 for $10, just that he would rather have had that. I am somewhat curious if there is a legal issue in this. I know that in Kroger (supermarket), if some grocery is 2 for X, they must sell 1 for 1/2 X (I don't know if it is the law, or just store policy), but if it is b1g1, then one would pay the same price for 1 of the items as one would pay for 2.

The BB ad says something like the 2 for $20 must be purchased together or otherwise the individual price is $14.99, so they do cover themselves legally.

So you were annoyed that you had to buy two titles in a two for $20 sale?

Full retail? The Spy Museum sells their DVDs for MORE than even Suncoast, Borders, Barnes & Noble, etc. do.

It actually was $29.99 iirc. I was more curious as to how they had it an entire week before street date. But spies have ways to do things like that I guess....
