Just got an email from blockbuster saying that my free 6month deal was invalid and they will let me keep the month free I had but will go back to the normal plan in July. Was fun while it lasted

They're fully aware that hackers made up a workaround to enable people to get six months or a year for free. Why would you fight that, knowing the situation? Most everyone is getting two months free, which is better already than the standard one month free.

OK, there has been a ton of BBV bashing, so I thought I would offer my 2 cents.
NF: I was a member of Netflix for about 1 yr. At the start of my membership the turnaround was about 6 days because the closest hub was a state or 2 away. Then they opened up one in Louisville and turnaround was about 3 days. The problem was the most of the new releases (NR) I wanted were on a wait.
BBV: Initially, there was a fairly long turnaround (about 6-7) days until they opened a hub in Louisville. Now the turnaround is about 3-4 days. So far most NR have been available. Some of the old ones are always on short wait. The real problem has been their website. For the longest time, the link to NR movies did not display any NR. It is partially fixed now. You still have to do a search for some NR.
winner: BBV-- I really like BBV for the added in-store coupons. That way I can rent some of these movies that have a bonus disk without using 2 selections. Considering that 2 in-store movies are worth $4 each, I am essentially getting the online membership for %50 off.
my 2 cents,
Bryan

Check you Blockbuster Online coupons... There is a coupon for one free Previously Viewed DVD from a selection of about 25 dvds. Of course, what PVD titles from that list your store actually has may be far less. But still, you can't go wrong with free!

Blockbuster Online members should check their e-coupons for another free PVD coupon good from 10/12 - 11/12 on a select number of titles. Slightly better selection than last time but you can't go wrong with free.
Here's a link to the list of PVDs:
