I'd love to play both of these with the GamePad.
I tried SMG2, but hated the controller scheme.

Super Mario Galaxy is my favorite franchise from this generation. They were maybe the only thing that redeemed the Wii for me.
I enjoyed Wii Sports, Twighlight Princess, Metroid Prime 3 and Resident Evil 4 as well, but otherwise, everything on Wii was forgettable and/or gimmicky.

I didn't think XenoBlade Chronicles was all that gimmicky or forgettable. One of the few decent RPGs this gen.

I unlocked Grandmaster Galaxy. Good lord, the no checkpoint thing is going to be a killer for the comet star. And I can't take a single hit?

The player must redo the The Ultimate Test mission, but under Daredevil Comet conditions. There are no Checkpoint Flags whatsoever, the Paragoombas of the first planet are now replaced with Choppahs, and there are considerably more mines than before.

Grandmaster Galaxy: The Perfect Run completed. That was annoying as hell. Yesterday, I consistently could get to the last section, but would end up getting hit by some random hammer. Just tried it again today and beat it on the third go
I'll have to go back to Super Mario Galaxy soon and finish that one up. I think I was somewhere between 60-80 stars with Luigi.
