I've done it and it works great to get free online since I have a cable modem and not all games support the broadband adapter.

Well I tried it out, I got connected but Unreal could not find a master server and niether could Quake. I wonder what I am doing wrong?

You know what I forget what I have been using as my name, I think Feydakyn, if not that then Sardaukar, same as my Quake III name.

How does it run on a 56k connection? I rented and tried Q3 and it lagged enough to make it slightly choppy - not enough to really ruin the game but just enough to make me slightly queasy. It sort of looked like it was dropping frames, kind of strange, but what can i expect playing narrowband right? ;) As soon as hollywood video has UT in though i'll be renting it to check it out.... maybe a new game to break my month long addiction to PSO.

I have been playing non-stop since I got it and I have only lagged up two or three times.

I also noticed that if you use a VMU that already has your ISP info on it you need to remove the DNS settings and just put 0.0.0.0. in the primary slot. I have several ISPs because I work in e-commerce and only one of them didn't work. As soon as I did this that one worked as well.
